VITAS or KITAS Requirement Documents
Okay, now you need to gather some required documents before applying for VITAS Indonesia. There are 3 documents as basic requirements for all VITAS indexes, such as:
- A valid passport and its colored copy
- A copy of your saving books as a proof of financial liquidity
- 2 colored passport photos
After collecting the three documents above, you can prepare several additional documents according to the type of VITAS index you will apply for.
1. Indonesia’s Working KITAS (C-312) Requirements
- Stamped and signed colored copy of CV/resume
- Copy of RPTKA (You can ask to your sponsor company)
- Colored copy of latest educational degree certificate
- Related work experience certificate
- Proof of insurance policy from an Indonesian insurance company
- Company’s legal and permits documents (NPWP, Akta Pendirian PT, NIB, etc.)
2. Indonesia’s Investor KITAS (C-313 & C-314) Requirements
- Proof of share ownership in PT PMA worth at least IDR 10 billion
- Recommendation from BKPM (Investment Coordinating Board)
- Company’s legal and permits documents (NPWP, Akta Pendirian PT, NIB, etc.)
3. Student KITAS (C-315 and C-316) Requirements
- Copy of the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Indonesian educational institution
- Current academic reports
- Proof of financial responsibility of parents, legal guardians, or sponsors for the duration of the study
4. Family KITAS (C-317) Requirements
- Birth certificate of dependent children (if any)
- ID card (KTP) and family card (KK) of the Indonesian spouse
- Birth certificate of the Indonesian spouse
- Bank statement of the Indonesian spouse
5. Retirement KITAS (C319) Requirements
- Statements from Pension Fund that signifies financial solvency
- Proof of living address in Indonesia
- Statement of the employment of an Indonesian driver or domestic worker
- Statement about the absence of intention to work in Indonesia
Next, when you have all the required documents, you can apply for VITAS. Later, if approved, you can use the VITAS to come to Indonesia. After arriving, within a maximum of 30 days you must immediately convert the VITAS to KITAS at the local immigration office.
